Event Time: 9:30am – 3:30pm
Location: Le Barbu Dieppe, 505 chemin Melanson, Dieppe

About the Event:
Join us for the second edition of the Soul Fitness Spin-a-Thon fundraiser for Crossroads for Women. This year, we are thrilled to have partnered up with Le Barbu Dieppe, who will be hosting the event at their location!
How it works:
1. Team Formation: Teams consist of 4 to 6 members.
2. Sponsorship: Each team member’s objective is to find a minimum of 1 sponsor who will pledge to donate a certain amount per kilometer ridden by the team on a stationary bike during the event. The minimum donation per kilometer is 1$.
3. Participation: Team can still participate even if they don’t have a sponsor for each member. We ask for a minimum of 2 sponsors per team. The primary goal is to come together, raise awareness, and collect funds for Crossroads for Women.
4. Event Duration: The event lasts for 6 hours, from 9:30am to 3:30pm.
What’s a Sponsor?
-
A sponsor is someone who pledges to donate a certain amount of money per kilometer ridden by the team.
-
Sponsors support the team’s efforts to raise funds for Crossroads for Women, committing to donate a minimum of 1$ per kilometer.
-
Sponsors can be friends, family members, colleagues, or anyone willing to contribute to the cause.
After the Event:
-
Following the event, an employee of Crossroads for Women will reach out to each sponsor with the total amount of kilometers ridden by their team’s members. They will provide guidance on how sponsors can make their donations. Sponsors will receive a tax receipt from the organization for their generous contributions.
Why it Matters:
-
By participating in “Together We Ride for a Better Tomorrow”, teams contribute to raising awareness and vital funds for Crossroads for Women, a non-profit organization, helping women and children transition from crisis to empowerment by providing safe housing, education, counselling and support.
Join us as we pedal together towards a better tomorrow!
